Creation of logo & graphics

First, we had to come up with a fitting logotype and select a color scheme for the company. We researched the recycling industry and got inspired by landfills and the machines working there. Chemical structures such as the benzene structure are common in plastic molecules. Their mission is to break the long lines of plastic molecules through a new biological process. This we wanted to show in their new identity. We used the hexagonal benzene structure for the letter "O" in Scindo as their new logo. An animation was created to reflect this process. A color scheme made up of black, white, and yellow reminds you of recycling and landfills. The typical caterpillar digging machines often found at landfills are painted in a similar yellow color, which we found fitting for the branding.

Responsive website with video header

A responsive website was needed in order to look great on both mobile devices and desktop. Scindo wanted to show something that would directly affect the viewer upon visiting the site. They wanted us to display a video zooming out from a landfill in order to demonstrate the scale of plastic pollution. Below the video, we created a one-page website containing multiple sections with data such as a project timeline, news feed, team info, and a contact form. All these elements are made to be able to adapt to different screen sizes.
